Getting Closer

I am getting closer to my goal of publishing before the upcoming Spring. I am 90 pages into my 200 page goal. I know it doesn't sound far, but it really is. When you think about it, my goal at 200 pages is roughly 80,000 words. At 90 pages I am 26,500 words in, and that is over a fourth of my goal complete. Woot to me! This is for novel A. Novel B is in the works as well. Novel B is a YA story whereas A is an Adult Paranormal Romance. I do have plans for a trilogy for A though, so the second story for that series with be a Winter goal. That's three novels to finish this year. I really hope I can manage it. It will take a lot of focus, motivation and preschool hours. LOL My daughter just started two days a week, three hours a day, at preschool. This gives me some extra uninterrupted time to write and brain storm. I hope I use it wisely.

Starting.... For real this time

As I've said a few times in the past, I've started writing again, and this time, I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. First book in a series is about halfway done. I can't believe how much writing I've gotten done in just two weeks. I'm a hand write with pen and paper and later type up on the computer sort of writer. Something about the old fashioned way that keeps the story flowing. Stick me in front of the computer and my mind goes blank. Typing stuff is nothing, especially with some good hard core music playing in my ears. 

I was on the hunt for a self publishing company and have decided maybe SmashWords would be my best bet. It will put my ebook on top sellers bookshelves like iBooks, Amazon Kindle and Oyster. 👍😉👍😃👍😉🙌
